Most importantly, we are your advocate and represent you and your needs.
It is more than price, it is about protecting those things that matter.
One of the main differences between an independent agent and an agent representing one company is; we are obligated to look out for your best interest, not the best interest of the insurance company.

I do not care for the majority of the cold/unsolicited calls I receive. What I don't like is auto dialed calls, robo voice call ( i don't care how realistic you think it is- I can tell) or people that call and pretend we have a relationship. The worst are "sorry I am not interested" and they keep...

What I don't like is auto dialed calls, robo voice call ( i don't care how realistic you think it is- I can tell) or people that call and pretend we have a relationship. The worst are "sorry I am not interested" and they keep trying to convince me I 'NEED' their service, or tell me I am an idiot for not using their service.
The ones I do take are the ones that ask if I have time, get right to the point and then ask to schedule a call for a an depth interview. I prefer this to them assuming i have a half hour to talk to them, just because they called.

Depending on their business, I discuss the option of having Work Comp Coverage and including themselves. This generally gets the conversation started, which is the most important thing.
