How We Got Started
Co-founded under the name of NY Consultants Group LTD. , after one year in business moved to Wall Street area as first minority owned consulting firm on Wall Street. Established an Advertising Agency in the second year as well. Changed name in 1989 to Diversitas Inc. Added GREDT in 2005. Winner of NY NJ Minority Supplier of the Year Award and National Minority Purchasing Councils Supplier of the Year Award.

That should be included since every small business is impacted by Covid as well as large corporations and not for profits.

The subject was Men Talk a monthly conversation held by this non profit with experts in various fields sharing their views and ideas with participants. Kechies Project is devoted to providing support for girls in Nigeria and Harlem and added the Men Talk component last year to assist in the educational development of young men as well.

Because I am not a retail business dependent upon foot traffic my differences are more related to opportunities to meet with people and their reactions to Covid. Also because my business is international, a lot of my business involves the state of affairs in other countries caused by the pandemic and the reaction and actions to Black Lives Matter movement globally.
Last year I saw the economy headed toward a depression. I went to a business owners whom I greatly respected and discussed diversifying by taking over one of his companies. I knew I needed partners to do so . I reached out to former clients in business across the United States and Africa....

Last year I saw the economy headed toward a depression. I went to a business owners whom I greatly respected and discussed diversifying by taking over one of his companies. I knew I needed partners to do so . I reached out to former clients in business across the United States and Africa. Today my seven joint venture partners await the total reopening of NYC to begin the seven months of work we have done to prepare which included our approach back in February to the pandemic . We have created a new model that now we see others adapting. Now its about implementation of our business plan. As a consultant for 40 years in September, I always understood that with difficult times comes new opportunities.

It has become more enhanced and increasingly more balanced with business and personal particularly for me as my network is global and my family and friends are in all regions of the US . And news I can check is even more important as my focus is on solutions not causes and effect .

Because I have been in business for 39 years as a marketing major undergrad I understood inherently the importance of segmentation strategy and that led to my becoming an expert in Global Diversity Managment and understanding the difference between Cultural Marketing and Global Diversity Strategy. So my challenge is always to educate people still new to a business concept that I helped to popularize in corporate America and the Legal Profession in the late eighties and all through the 90’s when companies became aware of the Hudson Institutes Workforce 2000 Study. Today I focus on small business and non profits and global business. In effect the US is actually behind most companies outside of the US is moving to the next level of strategy and understanding. And because my interest is very specific and segmented I must identify thought leaders in any industry I do business with and make sure I am aware of the cultural differences in groups, organizations and personal culture that impact us all.
