That's a tough one. I think maybe you're looking for a unicorn. Maybe shoot for a zebra.

But for my business, the first thing that I would look for is personality and the ability to focus/ listen intently to one person. The second thing I would look for is someone who can talk. Then lastly I might look for someone who has those 3 qualities and who's maybe been in the industry for a while and is feeling like maybe they're "too old to be swinging a hammer anymore." Then I might offer that long term guy a raise and a bonus structure based on sales numbers to get into the other side of the business. I was in sales for years and I made a lot of money doing it. I can tell you from first hand experience that the best sales guys can sell anything regardless of what it is/does. It's all about their personality.
