About Us

We came to the Ocala area in 1995 from southeastern Wisconsin. Our previous professional “lives” were as a music educator (Bob – for 59 years!) and an executive secretary (Dawn – for over 30 years) we had been rental-property owners for decades & even built homes on spec. So in 2002 we took what seemed like the next natural step & became Realtors.

Since then we have been helping people meet their real estate goals – whether that is to buy a home or sell a home. And we love it! It didn’t take long before we knew that we are here to help make their real estate transaction as smooth and stress-free as possible, and that we are good at it! We have regularly won awards over the years as the highest-producing Realtors in our office, but the best reward is the smiles on our customers’ faces when the closing is done.

At this point Dawn is still dedicated full-time to our real estate business, and Bob is currently doing real estate work only occasionally while working on publishing children’s books & educational materials. Our free-time is spent doing charity work around the state as members of The 501st Legion (a world-wide Star Wars costuming group), as well as through our local church. We look forward to helping people fulfill their real estate needs – whether they are a first-time homebuyer or a senior citizen looking to sell their home and move closer to their family. We ARE here to help!

Second, you are obviously a giver, and that is why you do what you do.  But that is also why it's hard for you to open up about your situation and allow others to step in and help you in this time of need.  The old adage of "no man is an island" is very true - we don't exist on this earth alone, so perhaps you could "live with" opening up to others about your situation and accepting their help in carrying some of the weight of daily responsibilities by GIVING them the OPPORTUNITY to for once be "the givers" to YOU.  You already know the joy that you receive from being the giver, so why not "give them" that same opportunity to experience that joy? Third, you have a responsibility to yourself and all of those who love you to do the best that you can to fight this horrible disease to the best of your ability.  Fight it like a prize-fighter, and may you be the victor!  And may those around you be in your corner cheering you on in your battle.  We'll be thinking about you!

I'd say that our business this year is a tad better than last year as far as gross and net sales, although we have had fewer listings due to low inventory in our area.
