Do you charge cancellation fees when a client cancels their appointment? If so, how much and within what time frame?

Only if it happens regularly with a client, then I explain when they book they need to give credit card #. After that usually don’t cancel last minute. Also if a wedding party books, always explain that if they cancel with less than week notice. That card will be charged for whatever amount you agree upon. And three no shows and you’re out!
