ERA is dedicated to strengthening families and individuals. Counseling services are offered to young children, adolescents, adults and older adults individually, as couples, and as families. Family Focused Therapy, Specialized Counseling Services, Support groups and Cultural Sensitivity Training is offered. Empowerment Resource Associates, Inc. (ERA) began its mission in Philadelphia in 1993 as an agency specializing in disability management. In response to the increasing needs of the communities in the City of Philadelphia, ERA re-engineered its services in January 2000 and became a supplemental services provider of mental health services. Through growth and experience, ERA was licensed as a Mental Wellness and Behavioral Health Outpatient Agency in June 2006.
