I am a writer, poet, public speaker, actress, Emcee and narrator.
I enjoy presenting modern history and how it relates to us today. Short stories with a poetic twist from the Roaring twenties to the disco seventies is an entertaining, yet meaningful approach to critical thought, nostalgia and history lessons not often taught in schools. It is seasoned with spirit, love and a touch of righteous anger to clarify the need to stand against injustice.
I recently spoke at Black Women's Educational Alliance emphasizing the power of ordinary women who mountains of injustice enabling women of today to have productive and meaningful lives.

Writing began as a hobby. After my first performance I realized other people liked my 'hobby' and I was strongly encouraged to develop my writing and expand my platform. Painful life events helped to shape and guide
my artistic track toward full bodied expression and digging to the bottom to find the truth.
