First and foremost if you don't have an estate plan someone else decides what happens to the fruits of your lifetime of labor and love. That someone is usually the state, guided by its laws on intestate succession. Second in many states there are estate taxes whether or not you are sufficiently well-heeled to worry about Federal estate taxes. So an estate plan allows you to address issues of tax minimization for your spouse or significant other and your children. Third if you have cherished possessions that you want a particular family member or individual to have when you're gone, you need to make certain they will get that cherished possession. You shouldn't trust other people to read your mind or be altruistic when it comes to possessions having sentimental or great financial value, you're not around to say wait a minute I wanted so-and-so to get that. Fourth as you age your circumstances change and having an estate plan allows you tailor the disposition of your assets as your circumstances change. As we get older we get fatter or we loose weight and we need our clothes altered, that is also true of estate plans. Fifth making an estate plan gives you a chance to discuss what your wishes are with your loved ones and gauge their reactions and consider their feelings while they are not raw from your sudden departure. Sixth it makes matters easier on those you leave behind.

Frankly, if you didn't tell your employer about your religious observances when you were hired and its now become an issue you're at fault for not letting them know. You do have legal rights to force your employer to make an accommodation if there are a sufficient number of employees to come...

Frankly, if you didn't tell your employer about your religious observances when you were hired and its now become an issue you're at fault for not letting them know. You do have legal rights to force your employer to make an accommodation if there are a sufficient number of employees to come under the federal labor and civil rights laws. Doing so will get you your rights but it will also antagonize your employer or manager. I get the sense you're a pain in the ass employee and unless you're a high performer your employer or manager will be looking to develop a record of poor performance so they can document legitimate reasons for letting you go. If the business is not doing well you WILL be one of the first to be laid off.

If you cannot afford an attorney go to the county courthouse and talk to the clerks of court about how to do this yourself. If there is a legal organization that offers service sto clients that cannot afford an attorney they will know about it. Good luck! Next time make sure you have a lease with your tenants and a first and last month's deposit on account so this doesn't happen again.

Really great materials should be printed out and submitted with a copyright application, the required fee, and the fee for expedited processing (to get your material registered more quickly) to the Register of Copyrights. You can do this online. Why should you do this? Because you need an official copyright registration issued before you can haul the offender into court. The registration also allows you to sue for statutory damages. Next if you brand your services you should apply for a trademark. This takes longer, however it provides you with an avenue for stopping disparaging behavior once you finally get your service mark registered.
