Polaris Dance Theatre choreographs and stages 3 fully-stages annual productions to the Greater Portland area and beyond. Including 2 dance festivals, Galaxy ( Aug.), and Groov'n Greenhouse (Jan.) Artistic Director, Robert Guitron, has been choreographing and teaching dance in Portland for over 48 years. Besides the Polaris Dance Company, Polaris hosts the pre-professional Junior Company for ages 13 - 18, and the youth, Neo Company, for ages 10 - 12.

Polaris offers a wide range of classes to youth, adults, and seniors of all skills and abilities, including pre-professional and altered-ability dancers. Classes offered include Aerial, Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Pilates, Senior Dance, Tap, and Tiny Toes. Our community-oriented programming is staffed with working, professional dancers with a passion for making dance accessible to all.
