About Us

Like an inviting storefront, your website should make you money. The good impression you make with your website should extend your influence and drive awareness of your product or brand. It is your business card and marketing platform.
We build WordPress eCommerce, eLearning, and starter websites for businesses, entrepreneurs, artists, and nonprofit boards. We teach our clients how to administer their own websites. We also offer hosting and maintenance packages.
At Waterlink Web we connect your customers with you through websites that will get found on the internet.

How We Got Started

In 2012 I built my first website — for an apiary my husband and I own — and was hooked. That same year I entered a specialized computer program. A year and one-half later I completed the program, earning a certificate in website development and design.

In 2014 we launched Waterlink Web. I love the process of helping businesses, nonprofits, online educators, and other entrepreneurs succeed with websites built specifically for them.

I’m a frequent speaker at WordPress MeetUp events. As part of the WordPress community I gladly share techniques for protecting your website from hackers, Search Engine Optimization, and much more.

Nikkie helped me know what to plant and what to remove. We get lots of compliments, have lots of native birds, and it is all relatively easy to maintain."

I used to use Firefox but switched to Chrome and, more recently, switched back to Firefox. It feels like websites load faster on Firefox. Firefox has the extensions I need for my work. Privacy is also a factor. (more) I used to use Firefox but switched to Chrome and, more recently, switched back to Firefox. It feels like websites load faster on Firefox. I use Studio Press themes. My clients look over the dozens of themes available and select the ones they prefer. We then discuss options, select their theme, and I style it/brand it to reflect their esthetic. Each website, even when using the same theme, comes out unique and beautiful. My recommendation, have your website built by a serious website designer/developer and then contract that person to maintain your site long-term. When you want something changed, send an email and it will be done. This is the service Waterlink Web clients enjoy!
