In our area it's $125 to hook & $5 a mile. It's just the cost of doing business. Most people understand that if you let them know up front. I try not to give my customers any surprises & stay in touch with them, especially if it's a bigger job.
Look for retired techs. They already know the in's & out,s of most vehicles. People that are buying cars like to have a sales person who knows what they are talking about.
