Hello, I’m a retired firefighter, I am doing home and wood deck inspections. Currently more focus is on wood deck inspections and as well as the attachment points on the home. Why? Because it’s spring, now is the time to do your yearly inspection to prevent any damages to the home/deck/property. As well as to prevent family and friends from injuries. You, the home owner, you are responsible for the safety of your property. If anyone is injured or god forbid looses their life, you are responsible and can face a court case! Don’t guess, get it inspected.
A full inspection of the deck/home at attachments points, grading, in a 3 ring binder with a full picture index and the issues found.

There are many Uber and or Lyft drivers in the area, I too am one. My daughter decided it was time to get married (September 2019).....so you know why. As an Uber/Lyft driver I do this on the weekends. Business Service Group (my business) is looking for businesses, that want to do cross promotion. Yes, finding a niche market to work is good. But do not limit yourself to that one market. The sales to them will be low as niche markets do not order all the time. There is peaks and valleys. Look at the sports teams......the sales of their items rocket during their season to play and falls off...

Finding the who, what, where, when, why and how are the biggest questions for you to look for and focus on. Look at the industries around you, lets say real estate is booming and the agents are ringing the phone off the hook. Do not forget the little business operators that can also benefit from real estate and your service. You need to bring them together.

How about marketing your business to Disabled Veteran. Market to young business professionals that are single......doctors, lawyers, business executives....etc.
Find your niche market......what age bracket......do you want singles/married professionals with or without families. How to market with little to no money.......buy a pack of printer paper. Use your computer. Make your own flyers. Network at networking events. Get business cards, market with Real Estate Agents/Brokers......new single business professionals that travel a lot need your type of business. Go to sitebuilder.com, build a free website. Use social media.....facebook, intstagram, alignable, linkedin, twitter. Do a network event and invite single business professionals/owners to your event......pair up with a couple others to divide the cost of hosting and all market to them the services you may provide. I may need some assistance in the future as my wife is totally disabled and I work about-70 hours a week, I do trade work.

To change and show them that a trust bond must be made on both sides is you.....the sales professional that you are......I know wait a minute I am not a sales pro I am a butcher. Yes, you the butcher you are a sales pro......you sell what you know, how to cook/serve and to store left overs. No matter the profession you sell yourself to your boss and to the company you work for. My family owned a tractor trailer repair business while I was growing up. I learned a lot by watching how to interact with customers. How to treat customers and how to keep the customers happy. And no, the customer is not always right, what you do is you are giving the customer something to keep the satisfied and to keep them as a customer. You do not eat the cost of the product, service time, hourly payroll. Those costs were spread over the cost of all of the other goods and services sold. '
You have to sell yourself! You have to show that you are capable of handling the problem, righting the sinking ship, what ever you may want to call it. You are selling yourself as the person to do the job, capable and able to complete the task at hand. I have this business on the side and I am a full time job as transportation supervisor, as such I wished I had 30 employees such as I. My employees that are working under my supervision say this and say that about me. But when the chips were put on the table everyone with time, experience, and dedication.......none could stand with me. None could stand with me in 2.2 Millions Safe Miles, NO Accidents, NO Tickets, NO DOT (State or Federal) Citations. Before I was promoted I was there for my boss and for the company. I was taught a strong work ethic by my father. He worked the night his father passed away, he worked when his sister passed away. When he (my dad) passed away I worked, worked the day my grandfather passed away. He was taught, get the job done 1st. You were hired to work, not to call in, not to goof off etc. By not doing your job, not paying attention, goofing off you will get injured or killed or get someone else get inured or killed.

Also your auiedence is not only limited to working occupation(s), but to high school sports teams and players (all sports). To the Boy's and Girl's Clubs of America.....all those sports teams that are under them. To Pop Werner sports teams and Cheerleading/Dance Squads. Oh and we cannot forget those gymnast. What about Fire, Rescue, EMS, Law Enforcement, they are also in need of your services and educational information.
These sports teams as well as work force should partake in exercise, fitness, etc. A Chiropractor such as you, you can market your knowledge to these sectors. I have worked for The Home Depot and they had a Chiropractor on retainer that came in once a month and talked about proper lifting, eating, and gave discounts for his office if we needed him.

I do not listen to much music as current music has lost its appeal to I and many others. Some music you cannot understand the words. So I listen to automobile university via Zig Zigler.......I am not good with cold calling, never have been but each time I get more from the listening. Besides as a business owner it also gives me more insight on customers behaviors, what to watch for, how to address sales questions.....etc. As Brian Flanagan says and so do many others......those who cannot do teach. That is I. I can teach you how to fight fire, fire safety, drive a truck, how to photo document an accident scene, to investigate. Selling is my weakness. Tho I feel strongly about providing personal service and do a business transaction with a hand shake.
More direct and grassroots marketing and the presence has broaden the spectrum. It is good for business and allows more small businesses like mine a greater presence to a larger audience.
