I contacted Angie's list to be a provider for them, i got turned down for this reason, i only do repairs. They want someone that does installs only but not dealing with ponds or water features. I asked them ponds to leaks, pumps and filter out out, what is a person to do? Angie's reps reply with, we can help you or them. I ask again what is a homeowner to do, they reply with look somewhere else. Then what is the point to have a service like Angie's List or home advisory that can't help someone with a pond or water feature. The phone book and google, craigslist, signs on my cars & trucks works the best for me. Stay away from YELP they promise one thing and charge you another, then to stop your service with them they will charge you an extra $1,200.00 dollars to break there contract. I will stick with my website, signs on my cars & truck, craigslist, sign in my yard, & google.
