If the Chemical Free Fabric Protector had Tallow or Animal Fat  If it has water repellant properties , Than no! This stays in the clothing Especially Towels , Causing the water and Detergent from penetrating into the yarns.  Body fats and oils are already enough for the Detergent if it has a... (more) If the Chemical Free Fabric Protector had Tallow or Animal Fat  If it has water repellant properties , Than no! This stays in the clothing Especially Towels , Causing the water and Detergent from penetrating into the yarns.  Body fats and oils are already enough for the Detergent if it has a Surfactant included. otherwise it will quickly counteract Your Detergent   , " No Suds" To hold Dirt ,Soils, Fats and Oils in suspension and wash them down the drain. Graying occurs over time.  I would rather use an extra rinse and Vinegar for Home Use. Laundry Sour for Commercial Use. This insures the residual Detergent is rinsed out. All items will maintain softness and durability,  Actually last longer.

They spend a lot of time and $$ to advertise,  Without restrictions, Others will infringe on these for thier coviniance , And Gain.  Which would allow their own competitors the tools to compete against them at no cost or effort at all.
