After retiring from the Military and Selling my business, I was looking for something meaningful to focus my skills and energies on. I wanted to make a difference in people's lives. As a Health Insurance agent, I have found the right Company to make this goal a reality with their mission of Hope. (Helping other People Every Day). Social media could be a good tool to engage with Other Businesses if your message is clear and concise in what you are trying to accomplish. However what you say and how you say it will either open doors for you or, close them forever.
My advice is be sincere and offer a service or a benefit as opposed to try and push a sale.
How you are perceived makes all the difference.

Take it with a grain of salt and move on. It is very difficult to ascertain what is going through a persons mind at any given point. I have learned through experience that that same person could become your best customer given a different set of circumstances.
