If I experience growth or downsize, I will take into consideration my next year's expenses management and I manage through the year. Unless there's a massive change during the year, this method has worked for me for 17 years I've owned my business.
Know your customer first, learn where they spend their time online, make sure to be there, answer their requests, and be helpful and polite, always.
