Good morning. A residential real estate transaction is between two parties for the purchase/sale of a home (residence). There are rules and regulations that govern that transaction as outlined by the Texas Real Estate Commission. The type of structure is one built to accommodate persons residing within to include kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, etc. A commercial real estate transaction is much different. The type of structure is different. The forms used in the transaction are numerous and different. Though the rules and regs are governed by the Texas Real Estate Commission, they have their own required forms. The structure is also built for the purpose of conducting commercial activity. The type of activity specific to the transaction requires specific forms and inspections. These two types of real estate transactions are very different. Thanks for asking.
