Know what is your companies unique value proposition is. Start there but be very specific about how your product or service benefits the customer. Everything you claim has to pass the prospects "So what" test... "So what... how can you help me?". They don't care how great you or your company are.... Everything you claim has to pass the prospects "So what" test... "So what... how can you help me?". They don't care how great you or your company are. They want to know how you can positively affect their business, period. Then support the customer based on your unique value for their specific business needs. This is a good starting point.

Make your presentation all about your prospect, not you or your company. They want to see and hear how your product/solution will address their immediate issues. As long as your company is credible, they don't care about your sales awards or how great your company stock is doing... don't waste... As long as your company is credible, they don't care about your sales awards or how great your company stock is doing... don't waste their (or your) time. Your prospect wants to make sure you understand their challenges and have a compelling solution. Stay focused on that, not you and your companies greatness! Hope that helps.
