I absolutely think it makes a difference. Those spaces represent the business and what it needs to project. Maybe it needs to be healing, calming, or stimulating. These spaces are what the client/patient sees when they walk through the door.

Color forecasters say gray is on it's way out. Taupes, moving into warmer beige tones are coming back. They are more timeless.

Motorized if possible. Battery operated shades are ok if electrical is not available. However, the batteries need to be changed frequently.

In a master bath, does the woman prefer to stand or sit down to do her make-up. Lighting is also very important.

I prefer either granite or quartzite. Both are extremely durable in a kitchen. Marble is pretty, but more porous. It does not work well around oils, acids and red wine. The newer contemporary quartz materials are really nice. However, they are not all the same. They are made with real...

The newer contemporary quartz materials are really nice. However, they are not all the same. They are made with real crushed stone and resin. The resin is not as heat resistant as real stone.

No. Depending upon how I am working with a client, I may opt to pass along my discount to the client, but that would be my choice. I would never offer a random retail customer a designer discount.
