I think we need to have more companies willing to train for a trade. Not everyone is college material or have the funds to spend on a college degree. Even those who graduate with a college degree are finding it harder to find that job that will pay them the college degree money they want. ...

I think we need to have more companies willing to train for a trade. Not everyone is college material or have the funds to spend on a college degree. Even those who graduate with a college degree are finding it harder to find that job that will pay them the college degree money they want. Companies need to go back to the training and offer incentives for people who want to learn job skills.
Just because you went to college, doesn't prove you have the smarts to do the job.
It's all about the common sense and the ability to apply yourself for that job.
Years of experience. What is there track record. How they participate in the community. What is there bed side manner and how important I am to them as a client. What they will do for me and how they think outside the box.

I just ask my customers if they would take the time to send in a review for the
service I provided. I only ask once and if they do great, if not I just move on because I know i did a great job and would respect that they would refer me out.

Net Working is the best for me. Getting to know, like and trust you is what people are looking for. I also get a few orders thru my website, but mainly its my being in front of people on a weekly, or monthly at meetings to bring my sales team the latest hot item or special going on. You need...

Net Working is the best for me. Getting to know, like and trust you is what people are looking for. I also get a few orders thru my website, but mainly its my being in front of people on a weekly, or monthly at meetings to bring my sales team the latest hot item or special going on. You need the communication with customers, stopping in once a month or contacting them. They want to hear from you or see you. I always bring them something, a small token of my appreciation for their time.
I make little marking grab and go baskets with my marketing materials and put snacks in them and I make them look professional so they will always keep me top of mind.

Neither, I would bring on board a part-time employee to see if they have the skills, and work habits
before investing time and money into them. I would train the employee and also see if the employee

If all else fails, then I would hire a temp service to help me find the perfect employee for my
type of business and needs. They have the tools and experience to find the right fit.

important to them. I get to know the person I'm meeting and just connecting with
