Steven Kovich Photography
Early on in his career, Kovich worked for Detroit Monthly Magazine and Style Magazine, as well as several Michigan sports teams such as the Detroit Red Wings, the Detroit Lions, and the Detroit Tigers. He captured behind-the-scenes, never-seen-before photos for the coffee table book titled, “Forty-Eight Hours with the Detroit Red Wings,” published in Jan. 2003. Additionally, the photographer took on the "Big Three” automotive companies (General Motors, Ford Motor Company, and Fiat Chrysler) as clientele.
In addition to living in Michigan, Kovich also took up residency in both Vail Colorado and New York City where he continued to work as a successful photographer. St. Petersburg, Fl is now home, after moving here in 2006. Since his relocation, he has acquired several big name clients such as, but not limited to, the Tampa Bay Rays, Duke Energy, Publix, ABC, as well as numerous hotel chains.
During Kovich’s extensive career, he has won countless awards, many of which are nationally recognized. A few honors to name include winning a handful of American Advertising Awards, formerly known as ADDYs, as well as prestigious print magazine competitions.
Throughout his 25 years plus of working as a photographer, Kovich has traveled both nationally and internationally to some of the most beautiful and exotic locations around the world.
Over time, he has photographed many famous celebrities, including actors and actresses, legendary musicians, coaches and politicians (including U.S. presidents).
Kovich specializes in advertising, commercial and editorial photography throughout the Tampa Bay area and the US. In addition to his famous list of clients, he has photographed food, lifestyles, architecture, landscapes and yachts, including the 145-footer used in Martin Scorsese’s “The Wolf of Wall Street.”
With his passion for editorial work, in addition to being well-versed in the magazine and tourism industries for the entirety of his career, Kovich wished to expand his creativity and publish his own online magazine. He founded the Beaches Visitors Guide in 2016 and has since successfully fostered its growth as owner, publisher, photographer and web site creator.
Kovich is the publisher and photographer for the Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce’s Visitors Guide and the Relocation Guide for the past three years.
The hard-working, highly creative and accomplished photographer is also skilled in video work.
Aside from the BVG and photography, Kovich spends his time relaxing at the beach, flying drones with his teenage son and is an avid boater.

They gave me one of my first jobs! I doubled my income year after year for quite some time...
