About Us
I have recently created a new boutique dental practice. I am a general dentist who practices with a neuromuscular approach. This means that I am very concerned about the alignment of the jaws to the rest of the body. This affects all areas of dentistry and health care. I treat TMJ (jaw joint problems), sleep disordered breathing, complex restorative and esthetic cases, orthodontics, and fabricate performance enhancing sports mouthguards.
My mission is to change and save lives by eliminating pain and suffering, embarrassment and self-consciousness, and by helping people sleep better at night.
How We Got Started
I owned and operated a busy general practice in downtown Toronto for close to 30 years. I have downsized my operation to allow me the time to focus on my patients without distraction so that I can offer them my best and finest work in a calm, stress-free environment.

What is it about a person that makes him/her unique? What is it about a business that makes it unique? My business is a small business and is a reflection of "me". I love people ... I love to serve people. I have and continue to look for ways to serve my clientele, make them know how much I care, give them trusted advice, treat them with respect. There are not a lot of businesses that provide this level of customer care. It sets a business apart ... it differentiates the business.
Know yourself ... what is your unique offering? Find a way to make it a part of your business. People will be attracted to your honesty and authenticity.
In my opinion, fee for service is the way to go. Always try to keep the relationship between you and your patient, between you and your patient. Third party interference can be very harmful to your patients' oral health ... it takes away your autonomy and your ability to your best for them.

I think that many people are looking for honest caring relationships with their health care providers. We make and take the time to build these relationships. We aim to build an open atmosphere where patients feel free to voice their concerns, ask about their oral health, and tell us what they want and how they want to be treated. It is not one size fits all ... customize to customers, get to know them, listen carefully (as others have said), and become a trusted advisor.
Some simple ways to show people we care are post-op phone calls, hand-written notes, and pre-appointment calls as well.
... Oh, and be on time!
