Welcome to my nature and wildlife photography site, www.LStaffordphotos.com. The slideshow is a small illustration of what you can expect to see when you visit my galleries. Nearly all of the photographs were taken in and around the Tucson, Arizona area. My specialty is photographing cactus in bloom and avian wildlife. The Sonoran Desert is home to a variety of beautiful birds and cactuses, and I have tried to capture their beauty to share.

I hope you have had a chance to visit some of my galleries. I enjoy all types of photography, but what brings me the greatest joy is photographing birds. My husband actually calls me the "Bird Lady", and I'm proud of that title.

My photo of a Pyrrhuloxia was selected to be on the cover of the 2011 Jan/Feb issue of Audubon
That same photo was selected for the 2012 Audubon Awards Calendar
My image of a Costa's Hummingbird was runner-up in Chasing the Light Juried Photo Competition
