Thank You Alice... I am very knowledgeable about the TICO standards required in Canada and the differences in many other places. It is just unfortunate that most of the people replying here went off on a tangent about nonsense that doesn't apply to me or my question, because they are either threatened or don't know any better. I never said that selling/booking travel didn't require training. If they didn't understand my question or statement, then they should have asked. We have a Travel University AND lifelong training courses that Every agent has to complete and pass before they can become certified. It is easy to tell the people that are interested in being a contribution to the industry versus those who are threatened by the competition. How someone else enters the industry has nothing to do with what contribution these other people have made, (if any), so whether a person gets started through an MLM or another agency, what's important is that they receive the appropriate educational training to perform the job well and do it with integrity.
