There kind of all over the board. But I think the general feedback is its depends on the client and there is no generic answer. But I shouldn't be surprised, there is no generic answer for how to build a website why would there be one for how to market your business! If anyone else wanted to comment I"m going to try and narrow my question down. I work specifically with solo enterprise and small business where the owners are 40yrs+ in age and have been in business for 2+ years. Many have no concept for online marketing and websites. I don't believe there's any point in building a website if you don't have a marketing plan to support it. I can build the most amazing website but if a business doesn't have a plan to drive traffic to there site then building the site is just a waste of money. What budget would you recommend to a small business owner who has no hope of learning to build, maintain or do their own website or marketing?

Do you make most of your money off repeat customers or do you constantly need new ones? How much money and personal bandwidth do you have to invest in maintaining social media? Depending on how you answer those questions will determine which platform is right for you.
