It's public so everyone benefits ;) To answer the question, for us it's two things:   Inbound Marketing - has provided our best quality leads while positioning us as thought leaders in our industry.  Our website is becoming our best salesperson as a result.  It also provides a high ROI. We have a much higher closing rate from the leads we get from our website. LinkedIn prospecting - We're B2B, so it makes sense.  I have built a fairly large network and so I'm able to leverage those relationships to uncover tons of opportunities fairly quickly.  I can generate 3-5 leads per day from LinkedIn.  I have to qualify them a bit more, but the ROI is very high as well. Our close rate is a little lower here due to the quality of the leads we get. Both of these are much more reliable than word of mouth since you can't control when someone will be ready to refer.  We do have a good referral process, but you know referrals are unpredictable. With Inbound marketing and LinkedIn Prospecting, we have much more control over how many leads we generate. We also tend to get better quality leads (by quality I mean prospects that are a good fit for us, budget, timeline, company size, etc.).

(more) Hi Brent,  There are a few things I'd recommend to make things easier for you. Some of which will be a repeat of things already posted previously. Know who you’re speaking to (hint: it’s not everyone).  You have different types of customers, but they can be grouped into personas/avatars.  This will allow you to connect with your audience better.  Know your brand.  Understand how you want people to feel about your brand and get intentional about making them feel this way. Understand this along with your audience is where the best and most engaging posts come from. You want a content strategy - which should yield a content calendar. You want an app/tool to manage your social accounts with.  Buffer.com is free, but I recommend the paid version. You can schedule way more posts. You’ll want a “bank” of social posts to schedule out ahead.  Then you can post in realtime over these. This way you have a foundation that is always going (reducing your day-to-day need to post) You can use Canva to create templates for your social posts, so they all have the same look and feel. Please feel free to DM me if you have questions about any of this. I’d be happy to help.

For me, when someone says that they got a lower price from a competitor, my typical response is that they should go with that.In our experience, folks who make price their primary point for a decision are more headache than they are worth. If they are more reasonable then I talk about why other choose us even though we cost a little more.  I think Mark Mehling did a great job at providing solid examples.

We have found it's always best to play nice wit everyone. We try to refer "bad fit" leads to solutions that are best for them. Our logos typically start at $2K so a good solution for some maybe Fiverr or 99 Designs if you just want something pretty. But if you want a logo that makes your business money, works with your brand and considers your customers and strategy then you hire us. That's the short answer ;)

That having a $1,000 website is the same or will get the same results as a $10,000 website. (more) That having a $1,000 website is the same or will get the same results as a $10,000 website.
