About Us

I'm a general contractor that can be trusted to provide a high quality product. I concentrate on kitchens and baths, but have the capability to build additions and execute full renovations as well.
As a retired Navy pilot, I appreciate the synergy of having the right people working with me. I have a team of talented subcontractors and suppliers that I can trust to take care of our customers.

How We Got Started

After 26 years as a naval officer and pilot, I wanted to go back to my roots. As the oldest off a farm, I worked college summers for a talented building contractor. I turned down the many "three-badge" offers leaving the navy and went back into residential remodeling.

As a former navy pilot flying senior officers as passengers, we modified that to, "Better never than late". There is much truth to that with potential customers as well.  With such a wide range of services that we all provide, it is difficult to come up with a single approach that fits all.  As the owner and only sales person selling remodeling jobs that take two weeks to 10 months to complete, my approach wouldn't work for a company executing service calls. However you schedule your visits, don't set the customer up to look out the window every five minutes in anticipation of your arrival. As a customer I don't like the "two-hour window" approach. However, as a contractor, I appreciate the need for it. The way my HVAC company that services my unit gets around that is by calling me when the technician is on the way. That is greatly appreciated. The cable truck was out by the street when I walked out to get my mail. The technician saw me and said "Good Morning". I replied with the same. He asked, "Sir, do you know what time it is?" I replied, " Some time between eight and one o'clock". I crack myself up.
