Things like "a backlink profile," (link signals and review signals) and "Google My Business Profile" etc. make up for OVER HALF! While these might seem foreign to you if you are not an internet marketer, many marketers don't get this right either and will sell you social media services to include posting things on a weekly basis for you across social media platforms.. which in my opinion is a complete waste of your hard earned money! I think the best return on investment right now in advertising would be through Facebook ads. And while the internet is ever changing Facebook ads are making businesses big time returns and that is not going away for a long time.  For more information on this check out my Facebook Ads trial page on my website, Online Marketing Shark.

(more) So Clean Virginia Beach, a house cleaning company in Virginia Beach just this past weekend got reviewed online from the teams forward-thinking.. instead of wasting the clients time and money that it would have taken to clean all the plastic blinds in her rental that were heavily soiled it turned out costing her a lot less for them to replace the blinds altogether.. to include going to the store, purchasing them (taken off her bill) and installing the new ones after the house cleaning! She was wowed that they took those extra steps to help her with those blinds, but I think more so to the fact that another company could have just charged her for cleaning them, which wouldn't have made any sense and would have cost her a lot more.   So Clean Virginia Beach is a company to which I am the founder and CEO, and it was, in fact, my team over the weekend whos review I am speaking of but I think it comes down to common sense and knowing what your client wants at the end of the day.. when you don't know what they want, ask! Here is my outline to WOW my clients for example... Step 1. ASK: (For me it would be something like) "What deliverables at the end of the month etc. would you need for it to make sense that working with me 30, 60, 90 days from now a fantastic deal for you?  Step 2. Over-deliver on that/those and BOOM, you'll knock their socks off again and again New clients, rinse and repeat! ;)

THEY want more virtual tours, and more compelling info to stay intrigued; more education, more of everything.. You can't keep this particular audience interested enough without one in my opinion. A corky video walkthrough is still better than nothing but professional photography and a virtual walkthrough.. priceless. Out with the old and in with the new, I say, and these old school realtors who put up a stink with changes in technology can soon call this a hobby while cleaver investors step up and supply current demand to an ever-changing market. I am not a realtor but I am a Zillow Certified Photographer who can publish directly to Zillow, as well as a Google Trusted Photographer that can publish directly to Google who is getting ready to list his home for sale by owner soon himself. Let me rephrase, I wouldn't sell my own house without it. The only professional I need to hire is an awesome real estate attorney at the end of the day! With the low price of a typical virtual home tour (1000-3000 sqft) being around $175-$375, it's typically cheaper than a home inspection and the potential reach is outrageous with what you can do with it.. You can take your 3D virtual home tour and make a tab on a Facebook business page just for the home, embed it on a website whose domain name is the property address, my personal fav: putting it in a Facebook Ad and targeting a certain demographic audience to engage the right buyers, there are all kinds of pros to a 3D virtual home tour helping tremendously in the attraction of ANY home. Who has open house showings these days anyway, isn't that method completely dead! It should be taken behind the barn and shot is the answer. How many more people can visit your virtual open house however.. answer... ANYONE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD!!  It's a no brainer if homeowners serious about the sale of the home, and it'll greatly help the mind of the buyer out there who gets to view it virtually first too, I guarantee it. Find yourself a local Zillow Certified Photographer to help you out! :)

I can put my money where my mouth is, most marketers will sell you a lot of fluff, but I come packing results and I talk a big talk because of the confidence it has built but at the same time I stay humble, you either love me or ya hate me!

(more) I love Gaby's answer because she points out that in the end, the businesses that sell crappy products will sink while quality driven businesses will stay afloat. Building a brand that sticks around to form repeat buyers is better than any business that's sold all their crap to everyone already and made any profit off of it now that everyone knows not to buy their crap again! It also comes down to educating the customer on why your products are going to make their life better, everyone's looking for a deal.. let them know why spending the extra upfront will save them later on. Also, this would highly depend on where you are selling; Amazon, Ebay, Etsy, your own e-commerce store. Each is a platform where different marketing strategies would be applied to stay ahead of the competition. Ranking your products on Amazon is no different than ranking your website on Google through the use of a backlink profile with keywords and keyword phrases around your product(s).

(more) I see a lot of "word of mouth" and "social media" but my answer is "facebook" for being THE BEST form of ADVERTISING. Word of mouth is always great, some amazing ventures have been formed that way! Most businesses that spend money on advertising have no IDEA their return rate, it's typically not calculated, estimated even, nothing and that is really unreal. Here are my Top 5 reasons you need Facebook Ads if you are looking to grow business: 1. Tremendous reach.. moreso than Google ads, Yelp, Yellow Pages etc. dont even waste your money. 2. Target Audience.. Facebook has some of the smartest algorithms on the planet (they are called Pixles in the Facebook Ads world) gathering information and getting smarter the more you ads run! 3. Easy to use and understand.. It's not rocket science, though it may seem if you're not the website builder setting up the funnels and integrating everything it is easy to see how it works when everything is said and done. 4. Low cost & High ROI.. If you are currently spending ANY money on an advertisement(s) of ANY kind and you do NOT know your ROI shame on you, you are likely losing money somewhere. 5. It's Facebook.. Do you know of a bigger social platform.. didn't think so.. that's because there isn't one! Facebook also owns the platform Instagram by the way, and no other advertising modality in the world has as many users, so there's that too! Intrigued yet!? Feel free to contact me today or follow this link if you're interested in my free Facebook Ads trial for more information!

Especially nowadays, and with scam artists everywhere I think your approach may be lacking education on the product/service! Ever watch a sensodine commercial and notice how they school you on the fact it actually builds enamel etc.. That right there separates them from others toothpaste by being unique and educating you on something you didn't know about something you already needed and were looking to buy (well maybe but we all need toothpaste at that second but would be going to the grocery store looking to buy at  some point soon)! When we are educated on the subject matter we are more inclined to purchase, so until it makes sense it won't make dollars! Then there's the human factor because we humans tend to purchase from other real people we can relate to. So be personable, professional, and take it with a grain of salt that everyone you pitch doesn't need or want (insert product/service) and move on! If you can paint a picture for them of where they are now and how much better it will be once they're working with you and receiving their exact wants and needs, THEN you can sell them about anything at that point.
