I like the saying "can't pour from an empty cup" when referring to the importance of healers maintaining their balance of energy. There are going to be days that you are wiped out, sick, unmotivated, but those days are far and few when you take the necessary steps to care for yourself physically, mentally, and energetically.  I find that taking my time in the morning however it looks like for the day, before my household wakes, is the most nurturing for my health.
