Business for traditional restaurants is not coming to end though all segments will have to rethink their strategies.
Ghost kitchens will continue to be a positive trend for concepts that are looking to expand, penetrate new markets as well as for entrepreneurs. However, there are many challenges and obstacles one must face and overcome in order to be successful.
Branding and marketing will have to drive these operations, 3rd party delivery programs should not be solely relied on and the concept has to make sure what they are serving travels well.
The above is an oversimplified answer as the restaurant industry has many aspects that cannot be summarized in a few sentences.
