About Us

We are a small, family owned and mostly operated business that started in 1980. We are a heavy duty towing, repair and retail parts store in White River Junction, VT...We work on anything from Mini-Coopers to Excavators and everything in between!

How We Got Started

Our parents, William and Sally Josler started the business in 1980. We started out with one very small, 2 bay garage and an old Mack tow truck. We currently have over 24 pieces of equipment including tow trucks, flat beds, service vehicles, fork trucks, etc...

Being that a LOT of them are our neighbors/friends/community members, we try to help them find good prices mixed with good products. There are almost always at least two tiers of pricing with what we do, on the parts side. If you go with OE parts, generally they will be a bit (or a LOT!) pricier, whereas aftermarket parts can be just as good with less cost involved. It all depends on the part(s) involved, the urgency in the need and what the customer prefers. We do our best to work with our customers, ask the right questions and act based upon that information.

I actually would prefer to hire someone relatively new to the field and train them how WE operate and do things here as opposed to hiring a more "experienced" person that may come with preconceived concepts that may clash with how we operate. Not that we are not open to change (especially for the better!), but we have been in business for 40 years not because we suck at what we do! :)

He is a co-owner of the business and he also is in charge of the service/towing aspect of the business.  We are a relatively small, family business that has been in the area for 40 years, though; by and large we don’t get too many complaints but whenever you work in the public eye it’s bound to get messy once in awhile...we try to be very up front and transparent with our pricing before we even leave for a job, so there is usually no room for quibbling...
