If the latter, are you using (or have you considered using) retargeting on your website? While not a direct advertising source, it could enhance the results of all of the other digital marketing efforts you've tried or will try in the future, and the cost of retargeting is significantly less than the primary advertising so it could be a part of any campaign spend you do.

(more) Hi Kimberly, I would start with taking a look at how your business looks online when a potential clients searches for you on Google.  You'll be getting a ton of advice from people responding to your questions with great marketing ideas. Any lead developed from any of those idea (or any other of your efforts) is probably going to go on Google to find out more about your business before they contact you. The better you look when someone searches for you, the more confidence and trust the search results will convey and the more people will take the next step to visit your website or contact you. Having looked at your business online (as a potential client would), I would suggest considering the following steps: 1) Fully optimize your existing Google My Business listing to include more pictures (average business has 11), a link to an online appointment calendar, a business descriptions and a GMB post that you report every 7 days; 2) Reach out to your current and past clients and ask them to leave you reviews on Google. With 23 years in business, you've got a massive list of satisfied clients and others qualified to leave you a review. Once you get to 10 reviews on your GMB listing, switch to asking people to leave reviews on some of the other sites your business has that will show in the search results like Facebook; 3) Consider doing a 30-second introduction video of you at your desk that you can SEO tag & optimize so it may appear in the search results. Also, if there are any "white-label" videos for your industry that you can use, do the same so you have some video content appearing to potential clients. All of my above suggestions are meant to enhance how you look online when your company is searched for. These steps probably won't directly create new business for you but will increase ROI on all the other efforts you'll be taking to market your business.

(more) Lots of great answers to your question already so let me offer a different way of looking at your challenge: If your website traffic is decreasing, then you have to maximize your ability to engage with those that do visit your website to try and increase your conversion rates.  Here are three things  to consider: 1) Do you have a video on your Home page? Videos can engage visitors and keep them on your site longer which increases the chance they'll interact with you; 2) Do you have a pro-active Call-To-Action? An automated ChatBot that offers to have someone contact them to answer their questions by phone or email is a good example; 3) Are you using retargeting on your website? Retargeting can keep your ads in front of the 96-98% of visitors that don't initially take action and bring many of them back to your site. While the above suggestions won't help you increase your traffic, hopefully they will help you maximize the benefit from the traffic you are getting.

You've done a good job setting up Citations for your business so your business name can be found in local searches. I would suggest doing the following to help gain more exposure to help attract new customers: 1) Create a Google My Business listing (this will help increase your search results & visibility); 2) Reach out to current & past customers, as well as business associates who know you and your business and ask for reviews (this will help you get reviews & star ratings online to help provide "social proof". 92% of consumers read reviews about a business to help decide if they'll contact that business); 3) Consider creating a YouTube channel and adding video content that you SEO tagged (this will help your videos show up in local search results. 96% of consumers say watching a video by or about a business helps them make a buying decision). Hope this helps!

That being said, I will look at the social media accounts if: 1) They do not command the entire first page of Google when I search for their business by name. If they don't have a fully developed online presence, then I'll look at their social media profiles to provide additional "social proof" and see how active they are and what they're posting about; 2) If they have a link to their social media accounts on their website, I will ALWAYS click on those icons and take a look. If the icon link is broken or I'm taken to an account that hasn't been posted to in two years, I'm going elsewhere...

(more) As there are many great answers to your question already, let me suggest you build your online presence/online reputation as it will support and increase the ROI of whatever marketing efforts you do. You can set up your Google My Business listing, set up attractive image posts for the bottom of your GMB, set up high Domain-Authority citation cites, ask for reviews and have video appear in the search results - all at no cost just by doing the work yourself. When a potential client searches for your business in the future and sees all of the above in the search results, they're much more likely to respond to whatever marketing strategies you're using!
