I am publishing my trilogy soon. Where would you go for a book signing?

Being both an author and a publisher, I would strongly suggest being selective where you sign, but also be open to unusual venues as well. In other words, in today's e-commerce business world, bookstores are not the only way to conduct signings/business, so do not fret if your local stores (ones that are left) aren't willing to host you. Look for venues that are excited about you and your work. Speciality stores, gift stores, festivals (not necessarily book festivals), Half Price Books are exceptionally author-friendly, and even private signings are often successful. The last thing you want to do, in my opinion, is water-down your brand, which is you. So don't sign in places that you do not feel are worthy of your presence or your work. You have worth, as an author, and for the time that you've spent writing, and in the editing, cover design, layout, marketing, the process which is often in the thousands and thousands of dollars, be smart. I know some people say to sign whenever you have an opportunity and to each his own. I do not necessarily believe that. You have to account for your time of travel, hotel expenses, print, etc., versus how many units you move. Spreading the word about your work is important, but social media can help. Sign where you know you can market, start locally, and move outward. Community events are marvelous. They draw out families, readers, and not a large crowd of other authors.
Hope this helps.
Very good advice
