Cindy is a lifelong entrepreneur, who has a love for helping people and travel. Cindy has been a teacher, worked in retail and was an entrepreneur for over 25 years. She has been Mike's Executive Assistance for 40 years and loves spending time with her grandkids.
Mike recently retired as the Chief Meteorologist for a local TV station in Denver and we have been in the Denver Metro since 1991. Mike had been a Meteorologist since 1981, and on TV since 1978. He has written three books, is a Fellow of The American Meteorological Society and the Only Meteorologist in the Denver Media Hall of Fame.
We love it here in Denver and never plan to move! We have 2 children, a daughter-in-law, a son-in-law and three wonderful grandchildren.

Mike & Cindy were introduced to Land Banking back in 2010; but we didn't purchase our first parcel of pre-developed dirt until 2017. We didn't quite grasp you could own land using our IRA! As of today we have purchased over 8 Million square feet of land. If each sq. ft. was only worth $1.00, we would be thrilled, but actually it's worth much, much more than that!!!
We were looking for a way to diversify as we headed towards retirement. We were trying to do what Warren Buffet, Ted Turner and many more say: buy pre-developed land to protect and grow your wealth!
You might ask "Why California"? Well, for starters, Proposition 13; which assesses your property once and taxes don't go up until it changes hands in a sale, or improvements. Your holding costs are stable. (no more than 1.33% of purchase price)
