I love working with either kind of client as long as the client with no or little knowledge of my services is open minded and willing to learn about my business!

I encounter a lot of people who know little or nothing about the #voiceover industry who play at dramatic sticker shock when I quote prices. And yes, there is a difference between dramatic and honest sticker shock. Usually when the drama king or queen comes out, it tells me that they don't understand the training I have, the investment in quality equipment and an appropriate recording space that I have made, and/or the amount of effort that it takes to produce a quality voiceover.

To my advantage, the types who like to play at dramatic sticker shock are ultimately not treating me like a professional and it is a sign that they may not be the kind of client I want to work with in any case.
