ALL collection agencies are owned and operated by ATTORNEYS. I know how to get ALL derogatory information removed from a credit history and it costs NOTHING to do. Anyone that wishes to know what I do, let me know.
You must decide if you want to fight the fight yourself or using a professional. A lot of our clients are busy professionals. So they prefer someone do the legwork for them.
Yes, Credit repair definitely works. I will refer my clients to a nationally recognized company that will work with the individual to remove & correct the trade-lines that are having a negative impact on the credit scores. Credit repair is important because besides getting the best pricing for a mortgage, it also will help with the pricing of your homeowners insurance. In addition, many companies will look at the credit of an individual, that being said, it is another important reason to make sure your credit is reporting correctly. There are some instances that we can tell tell you a few changes to make & we can get a rapid re-score which is a faster avenue to a higher credit score.
I believe it depends on needs and pricing. I paid for a one time consult a few years ago and it was helpful. But I've seen some pricing out there that is way out of line with the value.
Define "Repair"! Are you concerned about deleting derogatory info; rightfully or wrongfully posted? Or is it a matter of building credit? Are you addressing personal or business credit? (Both are important if indeed you are in business). Please do not consolidate or pay for any of this to be done before at least seeing what is available for free. Only one guarantee in this area. If you do nothing , it will get worse.
Yes, speak with your credit union. They will be more than happy to guide you toward a better score. It' a win for you and for them. And it won't cost you anything but your time. PSCU has Certified Financial Counselors that can do that for you.
I've had great success using Credit Plus to pull credit and then using their "what if scenario" to determine exactly what needs to be done to get the score to a certain number. It's not exactly credit repair, but I've closed dozens of loans a month or two after getting my clients scores where they need to be.

Yes, it does work. I have a few companies that I refer customers to. I've had a lot of success & have been able to make them mortgage loans.
Yes it does and my company does a great job and quickly in helping clients repair their credit and improve their score
Define credit repair?? The Equifax option or the slow process of consolidating loans and rebuilding an acceptable credit history over several months?
