Perhaps, but my biggest gains usually come from the entire weekend — Black Friday through Cyber Monday.

We always hit the jackpot because we never sacrifice our integrity for growth
An advantage that my practice has is that we have Saturday hours. Many professional practices don’t
Not having a retail store, it doesn't mean much to me.
Since I have not experienced a Small Business Saturday yet, I have nothing to compare it to. Honestly however, I didn't know it existed until this year. Have I been living in the dark all this time? Maybe, but I have a feeling a lot of people in my area don't know about it either which is why I will be doing some extra promoting.
My business isn't seasonal however the last few years business has increased going into the holidays but my bookings aren't related to the holidays. It makes the holidays a bit of a juggling act for me.
To be honest I'm not really all that familiar with Small Businesss Saturday , can you please give me more information? I am however planning a weekend of two open house days on Nov. 10th and 11th . collaborating with few other vendors within our complex. Thanks so much ,

I took over the business about a year and a half ago. Former management never did any marketing so Small Business Saturday wasn't a big deal. I did a few little things last year (was still getting other things under control) and this year we are doing a bigger push of special buys to get people to come in. We'll also be partnering with other small businesses in our community to encourage shoppers to support local. Due to our location Saturdays aren't very busy to begin with, so we'll see what all of the extra marketing and connections can do.
Can you visualize the real estate profession working along the pathway of retail business? Miss the window... wait another year. Not me. Liken it to the frenzy of getting in on the window of opportunity for application and completion of a spring/summer Mazama pocket gopher study in Thurston County.
My chosen profession as a full time Realtor requires being the chameleon; purposefully adjusting to what the market is doing, finding means to connect and stay connected with people, acting as the conduit for bringing together sellers with buyers, buyers with sellers and ferreting out investor opportunities.
There are always buyers entering the buying market and sellers deciding it is time to sell and homeowners reaching a goal of being ready to invest in real estate as a means of building sustainable wealth. Some seasonality? Yes. And, changing to meet the needs of the seasons market? Always.
Small Business Saturday??? What is that?? I’m fairly new. We do work Saturdays already and if that would help me obtain more bookings on Saturday, then Im all for it. I have a lot of students that need work on week-ends and perhaps that’s a great tool to open up some work for these poor struggling students on Sunday as well!
