We are service oriented addressing customer needs all year long.

I run a digital marketing agency, so Small Biz Saturday doesn't really apply to what I'm doing, but it sure does to our clients!

Whether local businesses have a brick and mortar location or are 100% online - or a combination of the two, they can benefit from advertising on social media and reach their local customers.

By using targeted, well designed ad campaigns and some "jaw dropping" offers, they can drive a lot of traffic not just on Small Biz Saturday, but Black Friday, Cyber Monday, or literally any day of the week.

We regularly drive 30+ customer opportunities to our clients each and every month, so why wait for a holiday to start advertising?

The Veterans Coalition is not a retail business, however, veterans have many issues and needs. Businesses can do much for veterans. Make every day Veterans Day, thank them for serving; welcome them home; do something to make their lives better. If you are a veteran welcome home, I'm glad to see you made it.

I wish it would move the needle more however people are geared up for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Small business Saturday adds another layer of sales but the volume is nowhere near what I do the other two dates.  Also, take into consideration marketing funds for small businesses. In tough times, this may be the first expense to cut whereas companies that market and advertise Black Friday and cyber Monday will never forego the costs associated with doing business on these days.   Hope this helps and good luck!!

It can if a business builds on that narrative and provides a compelling offer to engage their customer to say YES!

Generally, the more production the better. If your Saturday's are busy, they may run into Sunday. If this happens on a regular basis, this will ensure you to move the needle. If this is this case, you need to get, or step away for a weekend once a month. Which is an important component in life, or one will crash and burn.

Small Business Saturday is a great event to promote our cherished small and local businesses.  I hope everyone tries to Shop Local on that special day.  Only the small businesses can provide that personal service, advice on selecting the right item, and sheer delight of discovering an unusual variety of goods.  Banish Big Box Boring!

Sadly, each year small businesses go out of business due to lack of support from their local community. And many large chains do a great job of masking their overall pricing by highlighting a few lost leader items and creating the illusion that those are typical of their entire store pricing. Small local businesses have been the backbone of this nation and we are seeing more of them squeezed out by large corporations. Shop locally owned businesses!
