How do you get new patients or clients by using the internet?
I have read many answers posted about how to get new patients or clients into your business and many replied through their website and social media. I wanted to ask specifically the best things to optimize these options.
Thank you!

Be honest and use real life testimonies that are clinically documented.
I’m mainly referral, but I see some come because of the services listed on the website that are unique, especially for athletics
A decent webpage, Emails and Facebook!
I have great reviews and they put in their key words that find me.
We keep in touch with our patients through social media; however, we find it most important to provide education and information on a quality website. We make it possible for you to meet our team and achieve confidence in us before you even arrive to meet us for the first time. Please come by either of our locations and one of our team members will be happy to give you a personal tour!
Getting new patients by using the internet can be very interesting. This is not 100% guaranteed, however social engagement, positive reviews, and a number of many other things in combination helps in getting new patients to the clinic. But, the bottom line is excellent customer service and going the "extra mile" for your patients is the major ingredient for acquiring new patients.
Number one, make sure that you post questions that engage your patients on social media. The more responses you get, the more visibility you get online.
Number two: post as much video content you can get. Creating your own videos on topics of interest to your patients will get some attention.
For the most part, my main source of patient inflow is from Patient referral from 31 yrs of business. We also use social media and we have a Website. I also perform volunteer work for various sports teams over the past 28 years as I have a Specialty in Chiropractic Sports Med.
I think there have been some great answers. I have found that most of my internet patients have not been the best. The internal referrals are always the best. For me I think focusing on them will increase referrals. With that said, blogging works well. I'm on to a new website, so check back with me in 6 months!
I do online marketing for a number of chiropractors and every single market has been different. What worked in Northern VA did not work in the Tidewater area which didn't work in a more rural area in central VA and what worked in the Midwest did not work in the South. In every market it took time and experimentation to find the right mix to get results.
The biggest mistake I see chiros (or any medical provider really) make online is marketing like they are an unknown commodity. This works decently well in rural areas where chiropractic is still somewhat of a novelty, but it cities, big towns and suburbs everyone already knows that there are chiropractors around them. I equate it to the difference between how McDonald's markets and how the mom & pop burger shop with one location markets. Everyone knows McDonald's is around. They market specific things to get people to come in who ordinarily wouldn't. Shamrock Shake. McRib. etc. The mom & pop place can be more general.
Unless you are in a rural place with no competition, the great majority of your potential clients know there are chiropractors around them so simply marketing "Hey I'm a Chiropractor" isn't going to get any of these people who are aware of chiropractic in the doors. They already know you are there, but they don't care yet. So make them care.
You can do that in a number of ways. The first, someone named already is through content marketing. This is a long term play, but a very good one. Give things away. Video content. Blogs. Etc. Teach your potential clients what it is that you do. "Ten ways to relieve your back pain while sitting at your desk" "The Three Best Things you can do at home to treat neck pain" "3 Stretches for Plantar Fasciitis That Will Have You Walking Pain Free in the Morning." etc.
The second thing is a great offer that will get attention. In smaller areas a good deal on an Exam, Consultation and First Adjustment (include X-Rays if you can) can work well. In bigger areas and areas with more competition then giving away a physical product along with an inexpensive exam, consultation & First Adjustment works well for getting people in.
Finally, marketing your content and retargetting the people who view or read that content is good for higher priced services like spinal decompression, laser, etc. These typically take a longer education period to get clients to be ready to purchase.
