Always better to give & show appreciation everyday, not just on Holidays...period.
I provide Thanksgiving Pies to my treasured clients and awesome business partners!
I don't believe in just showing gratitude on specific days of the year.. Once must show it throughout the year..
Keep giving good service and be appreciative every time I deal with both my customers and employees.
Employees should be taken care of all through the year.
We buy occasional pizza lunches, put on a barbeque and they are paid well to begin with.
Give respect to all, and respect will be returned.
Feed the hungry and homeless. We also give out coats to people in need from Nov-Jan , this will be our 5th year.
We are a small family-owned business, it's just us. We consistently donate to local charities, and in fact that is part of our tag line. As a cat supplies store (online only), we donate high-end gift-baskets (for example) to For the Love of Jack (here in Torrington) to help them in their fundraisers. We donate supplies and other assistance to Kitty Quarters, also here in Torrington, and Whiskers Pet Rescue in Southbury. We believe the most important thing we can do is give to help those who are giving so much for animals in need, especially animals rejected by humans.
At the end of the year I give back to my local community 5% of my profits to group that I think deserve it. Last year I did something totally different, I made baked goods packaged them up, a school joined forces raised enough money for blankets a 100 of them, Carol & Mary Lynn Fun Ambassadors, we went and sang with the seniors in a nursing home. It was fun, totally different than just giving a cheque.
I am one of the 4% in "other". It actually is similar to " Dedicate a percentage of all purchases to a favorite charity.", HOWEVER you take a percentage of every closing, listing and selling client's, then give that percentage to a favorite charity or non profit, then you send out a card to each client with the great appreciation of them and let them know that a percentage of their closing that I received went to whichever charity on behalf of them and myself!
I like to show my gratitude for my customers and clients, by hosting a holiday brunch. It’s fun and festive. I give out several prizes, such as gift cards, baskets, and toys for the kids. I plan for it the entire year, it’s really important to me for mine second “family” to know how important and grateful I am for them
