I am a Professional Organizer and I am having a hard time finding clients and closing the deal. Any advice?

In almost every case potential clients are excited about my service and how much it could benefit them but they will either not call back or say they will have to wait on my services because of the price. The cost for my service may seem expensive to some but is on the lower end of the industry cost.

Do you guys have any suggestion on a system to contact the potential clients back that I can use without seeming annoying.

I am also looking for places to host workshops. Any suggestions on location?

Often I have searched Craig's List for someone to help me organize both my house and my office, and I end up hiring someone who advertises her housekeeping services.  You should put an ad in Craig's List where people like me -- who have a clean house but a cluttered one -- are looking for help.

What do you organize? Are you a book keeper or DO you organize offices,Houses?

Do you have packages for project based work or are you only doing hourly work? It just takes educating people on why your prices are higher. Have you created a customer profile yet? If you are running into that they say they can't afford your pricing, then they are not your customers.

Are you asking questions so the client "Self Discovers" that they need your service?

I did that for awhile, I worked closely with realtors especially when home owners are looking to put a house on the market they need your skills for the open house

Sometimes, even a lower price can bring more business and a larger revenue. For example, in the 1930's White Castle burgers was ready to go belly up. They started selling two small burgers for a penny. People loved these and bought them because it was cheap enough for them during the depression. This saved White Castle and it is a main franchise today solely because of a low cost item. Let's say you charge $1500 for your advice. Yes, it might be fair, but the economy is not good yet. To lower this to $450.00, and advertise your services, more people might buy your services. So instead of 1 customer in months, you could obtain 10 customers. Which is better.
