Never compromise the standards of your vision. When you have a valid product that you wish to share with the world, stick to your guns. Always secure your menu with the best ingredients that hold true to their recipes. People love authenticity. If there are clients that don't embrace what you offer, they are not your target. Zero in on your demographics and offer them the best of you.

Never say or act negative,  If business is off and someone inquires "How's business?"  reply "Unbeliveable!"  Stay positive, Smile, keep the cash in the drawer and in the bank, pay all bills on a timely basis. Remember names, make everyone feel important.

Treat your  staff right.  Everyone needs to make money.  If staff is loyal they will make your business.  If you don't have experience in the restaurant business you will have problems.  Hire a excellent manager and let them do their job.  Pay them well and your life will be much easier.

Vegan and vegetarian options and make them delicious and appealing not just a plate of cut up veggies.

Stay consistent with your recipes, if customers like the ingredients you are using, they will tell others and continue to choose your restaurant.

Pursue EXCELLENCE relentlessly, and nothing less!   Give all glory to Christ the King, who is coming soon, blessings, gh

Get to know your regular customers by name. And never let a customer leave without gathering some information from them so you can retarget them. Ask them to give you a review or like your FB Business Page. Think of ways of rewarding them for doing such. A discount on net visit, etc?

So many things to say but first set aside funds for the right marketing, service, consistency, staffing and management. Last you have to be a hands on owner.

Listen to customers and employees and you will learn a lot about your business!!!
