Any ideas for marketing and advertising for our painting company?

I want to start a new marketing campaign to target real estate agents in the Toronto area. Curious if anybody has ideas on the best way to connect with them and give me a chance to show them our work offering premium painting services in a crowded industry?

You need great photos/videos of your past work along with recommendations / testimonials posted on your Website and other places that are highly visible.

With the likely hood of there being several painting companies to choose from I'd want to work with one that has a good track record and results that I can see in a low-pressure situation. I want to be in full control when making this decision. By showing high-quality examples of work, you'd be making my decision-making process much easier.

Do good work. Show your good work. They will come to you. This is also known as inbound marketing.

Be the magnet.

Hello,

I highly recommend using EDDM (every door direct mail). EDDM allows you to target homeowners and businesses within a radius of 5, 10, 25, 50 miles and more. You can create content about your business and put it on the postcard that will be sent out. You can also find a lead list of Toronto agents online and call on them in a friendly manner introducing yourself and what you have to offer. They key is to create brand awareness and let people know who you are and what you do.

Cheers,

Joe

I have had some luck the old fashion way-news papers . some of the internet sites work , sort of .Thumbtack-Angies-yelp .

Ask if you can be the spokesman at a realtor sales meeting.  Then, don't bring DONUTS or BAGELS. Barbeque bacon and eggs.  They won't forget you!  Then do a before and after presentation.  Let the work speak for itself, smile, answer questions.  They won't forget the eggs!

There should be a real estate association in your area that has regular meetings that anyone is welcome to attend.  They are great networking events and a chance to pass out lots of cards.

If u r targeting realtors then go to there office or call them and introduce yourself to then or offer to take them to coffee and take your portfolio with u to show them. But first set up the appointment with them.

Visit all the realtors and introduce your self and your services, then always stay in touch, letting them know your available

Get out of your office and go see customers face to face.  My customer base likes to see me in person, shake hands, etc.  It lets them know they are important to you.

Do not rely on email and social media alone, although that should be a part of it as well.

Best thing to do is find brokers with about 20 or less agents and come in and offer a lunch and learn. Then follow up with offering a free painting of one room of any property ( I would limit size and damage repair. Then when you do get jobs, have professional door hangers made and cover 50 houses for every house you do. Average is one new job per 100 flyers. That way you get real estate work plus one residential job per two of the real estate agents work. helped a friend of mine in St Louis do that, and within 6 months he had 3 crews working almost full time.
