What are different ways to try and recruit new employees for our staffing company?
I am looking for different ways to try and get new employees to sign up with our company. I know how hard it is already to get help at companies and even harder it seems when they hear staffing or temp agency so I am looking for any ideas or suggestions to help get our name out and get more people.

Obviously, word of mouth is the most powerful. But effective platforms I use are LinkedIn groups, of which I'm a member of 59. Also, jobs on Facebook. Job fairs at colleges and universities doesn't hurt either. As a contract recruiter, and having being in the industry off and on since 2015, those are some tools I use. Social media is powerful when used correctly.
We have great success with referral efforts and networking. Realtors are excellent resources for new people moving into the area. Social Media is a must.
I was shopping last week and I was at a high end retail store. The sales clerk was so impressive I started talking to her about myself and company. I later injected an opportunity for customer service and sales. She not only applied to my company she got the job and is doing very well in Manufacturing as a CSR.
Hi Rebecca the most useful tool we have right now that is blowing the job boards out of the water is the big yard signs, an abundance of them all over the county. Facebook has also been a great tool and of course customer service as most of our new applicants come in from a referral whether it be a friend or client.
Networking, advertising and website.
Social media, job fairs and referrals
I do not do temp staffing. In my world personal engagement on Linkedin works the best.
Do the unthinkable. I post positions at unusual places that are so commonplace that few employers think about. We use laundry mats, grocery stores, high schools, college boards, restaurants, truck stops, daycares. I ask for referrals from employees and pay bonus if person is hired, a second bonus if person is still with company after 6 months and another after a year. I post on email and facebook, asking people to apply or forward message to someone that might be interested. I also use companies like Indeed and Monster.
Networking, social media, including LinkedIn
Are you well known in your area? or would the community benefit from getting to know you better?
Do an event at a mall or grocery store (even if the people at the place are not looking for jobs they might know someone)
Use online content to increase exposure, joining groups on Facebook and Linkedin and post something that will be beneficial to someone looking for a job.
