The way we've networked has changed over the last 2 months. What do you think about the shift to online networking?
Since the pandemic, most networking takes place online. Do you like the shift? Will you continue networking mostly online or will you go back to in-person?

Unfortunately, everyone is inundated with emails, texts and voicemail. Many people ignore this type of communication. It is also difficult to build relationships this way. The old fashioned phone call really works best if you can reach people. And, if possible face-to-face meetings to move relationships further. While we use social media and email, it is only a component of marketing and networking in my opinion.
It has been surprisingly successful. It’s funny what can surprise you sometimes, and this was one thing that did!
It absolutely helps that everyone is in the same boat, and having an outgoing personality helps as well. But with everyone pitching in to give it their best try, online networking has really worked well!
I have discovered that consumers are moving to the virtual world and businesses are forced to move into the virtual world. I figured that I have to go where my prospects are, so I am doing 100% networking now and I get 100% of business from my online networking. My business increased three-folds through online networking than face-to-face networking. I am embracing it instead of resisting it.
Good morning,
Great question, I will continue using online via Zoom because having another tool in place to communicate to expand your business is very necessary. Zoom has boosted my business by reaching more people at one time. Face to face communication will always be used but very strategically during these times we are in. Also, we have an APP as well to communicate information to our potential customers which notifies us when the information has been viewed. I hope this helps. Have a bless day everyone.
I believe we have to adapt to what is required to keep us healthy and to keep us safe with COVID19, so I hold many client meetings either over the phone or via computer networking and Zoom. When I must meet a client in person I always wear a mask and practice 6 feet social distancing. When I'm hired for a photography assignment, I follow Washington State guidelines for COVID19 health and safety, using camera equipment that enables me to photography a person, a small group, and subjects from 6 feet away. www.jollysiendaphotography.com - Based in Bremerton, WA.
Networking online has been an increased reality and is better than no networking. I, however, still love the opportunity to meet face to face and believe it is easier to really get to know someone.
Networking is an essential part of all businesses. I don't think it matters what you like or want, the only thing that matters is what your customers, potential clients, and referral sources want. As a business, you should be flexible in your networking and meet in person with those who prefer it and online with those who prefer that.
Online marketing increases your networking reach. You can stay connected with loyal customers and introduce your business to future ones. Our offer of 50k guaranteed Facebook impressions each month (with a conservative 2% click through rate) nets 1,000 contacts each month. All have been targeted to have interest in your products or services. I’ll be happy to explain how inexpensive it is.
We are in a business that does better with personal interaction. I feel it is easier to explain everything face to face.
in person.this world is already anti-social enough
