Service Service, service which means paying attention to results, making changes based on those results and listening to words and tone. In person is still the best way to help your client grow their business as they'll share more in a one to one conversation than in email or even over the phone.  Body language speaks volumes.

  • Help them build their business, whether it is through your services or connecting them to others.
  • honest and open dealings
  • go beyond what you promised.
  • Communication, under promise and over achieve, have a written agreement so people will not be able to under cut your business and build rapport, that old adage "people don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care is applicable in business. If you can do a little extra without a huge cost....do it!

I have had a very high profile clients for 30+ years.  They have followed me as I left 3 companies and encouraged me to start my own business.  Our business relationship is personal and built on trust.  Here are my three list toppers for you

1- be honest with them.  They will find many other people to do business with and will eventually see through the dishonest ones.

    2- be fair.

3- know your client and their needs, remember if you can't help them they will find others who can.

  • Timely and effective communication
  • Be Open and maintain a positive attitude
  • Always exceed their expectations
  • Honesty!

    Communication

Treat clients the way you would want to be treated

Face to face visits when possible, listen to their needs and follow up regularly.

Three ways to maintain a client in my opinion are:

    1) Treat them with respect

    2) Often offer services or products that they need to be successful

    3) Follow up with them (good communication)
