When starting out, do you only take the jobs that you will make the most money on or do you take any job just to get your name out there?

Take Any job to get your name out there as long as you dont loose $$

I would set your price rate and keep it the same; it would be difficult to get a customer and then jump up the price. Always make a good product and your customers will stick with you if you continue to give good service with your deliveries.

I take into consideration  what the request is  or order is, and I make my judgement upon that. Right now being a brand new business, I do take on more to network and build my brand.

We didn’t just take any job.  We took jobs that didn’t require us to abandon our quality and service standards.  We then deeply discounted our price in order to get our name circulating in the right crowd.

You can accomplish both ! When your being interviewed that’s the time to make that clear in a professional and humbling way !

Selectivity is important, albeit the temptation to take questionable lines is strong and most things are subject to proper timing, the assessment of both the plausibility of the product and competition along with contacts makes the prime objective of SUCCESS paramount.
