If you fit in an special enrollment window (SEP) of loss of coverage within 30-60 days then you can transition into a individual policy. Other then that, it is applying for medicaid? And always remember, when you do the right thing the money will come... that starts with kindnesd and being genuine to your clients and everyone. This with generic your new clients naturally. I have not had success with buying leads. Oh, one more thing... dont forget to touch base with old clients you may have lost or have cancelled in the past. Just because they are no longer with you doesnt mean you wasnt great to them. They can be a new resource of getting business back. Proples life circumstances change all the time. It is up to you to use what you already have.

If my clients need help. I will do a payment for them directly thru carrier online. Most carriers have that set up and will send them a receipt via email. Also i take a snapshot for file or print receipt on the spot. I am grateful for the carriers setting up direct pay options, online, and auto....

I do not take cash and i advise checks to be mailed unless we use online direct. I do not want or intend to be a fiduciary and nor do i want audits. this keeps things clean.

Unfortunately that is a stumper.... I come from the old school of sales and hard knocks program. Have tried on a several occasions to hire with gut instinct and recognizing the potential of a person to mentor and grow. However, I have gave my all and came up short. As a brokerage owner it seems as soon as you get someone right to the point of almost self independent the next insurance place swoops in and promises the moon. Loyalty never wins out. Also, I have been realistic in goals for them and not sugar coated the strangle it will take to be successful. It seems that new agents don't want to do the leg work to self motivated and independent. They just want the perks of the commission. The seasoned unicorn agents seem to be motivated but end up burned out.I think all you can do is do your best, give your all, and cross your fingers that they work hard and are a good fit. Finding them is a crap shoot...

consumers are frustrated with cost increases, difficulty of admin if federal market, uncertainty of subsidy, angry at credit fees during taxes, dismayed with conflicting advisement, upset that business' are making employees feel more secure with benefit offerings. however, if you have the right broker agent, they can guide and navigate thru these frustrations to comfort thru these difficult issues. knowledge is key and calm things down. there is positives that can out weigh the media negitivity.
