That is a very long story...our core business was founded over 100 years ago and our CEO is a visionary that pivoted to provide the best solution for our Businesses.

No, Never do that at all. It can cause you to be delisted with Google. Our software offers a great Review section. Asking, responding, and nurturing your clients is what is key for reviews. A company needs to earn its reviews. I would never review a company I did not go to as a customer and I would never review a client, even if I am their customer. Responding to reviews is very important. That is why Thryv makes it simple to pop in once you get a notification to see where the review originated and respond in one fell swoop. No need to look at each different source it funnels right to you in our software. Also, make sure you do respond very clearly to those trying to ruin your reputation. A clear:"Im sorry but I looked at our records and we have no customer by your name could your incident have been under another name." etc.

By doing so I have strengthened my network and they appreciate and that, in turn, will be a benefit.
Word of mouth in 2020 is an illusion. Rarely will you have a business card or referral call because they have a phone number. Word of mouth is a rich online presence where that person can find you. Referrals research even though they may have heard of you from a trusted friend or family member....

Referrals research even though they may have heard of you from a trusted friend or family member. Consistency is key. New customers want the same experience Google asks you for trust and relevancy. Are you relevant to their need and is your reviews current and your sentiment score high? These factors are the key to acquisition of new clients.

Send Campaigns. I encourage my Thryv clients to set up an email that sends thanking the client and asking for a review. I tend to review the people that ask me in my day to day life. Reviews are becoming more and more important to businesses. If you are afraid to ask for reviews that is when you need to do a good look at your business model--are you prompt, courteous, do you try to resolve issues and do you let your clients know when you will be there with text reminders? Issues happen with all businesses, it is how we respond to our clients and try to resolve issues that is the important part. Also remember bad reviews can be edited by the reviewer. If you have a bad review respond and try to make it right. After it is resolved kindly ask if they mind letting the public know it was resolved. Don't forget to thank good reviewers as they took the time to leave a review for you. Hope this helps!
