About Us

Your success is our success, which means achieving your desired goal. Whether you are a first-time leader of one, an experienced leader of a team, or the organizational leader of hundreds, CMF Leadership will focus on you and your leadership challenges, and competencies. Leadership is learned, in spite of what the story books say, and most people can learn the language and the behaviors of leadership. Our behavior-based training involves psychology, social and behavioral science and uses a specific action method to implement these behaviors.

How We Got Started

With a background in public service organizations for over 30 years, with over 20 years in formal leadership positions, and formal education (Ed.D.) in organizational leadership, we began getting requests for training and decided to put the fulfillment of those needs into a business model.

Results.  Getting results, showing results, explaining results.   If you can't show the results, then how do you (or the customer) know the time, effort, money, was worthwhile?   (more) Results.  Getting results, showing results, explaining results.   If you can't show the results, then how do you (or the customer) know the time, effort, money, was worthwhile?

As a sole owner with no employees, I go wherever there are lots of people.  Just being able to talk with others creates connections, and leads, and allows me to educate people on what learning leadership is about.  Sorry that I don't have a great, cool, location to give ya!
